headquartered in Santa Monica, California. The Company also
maintains offices in Atlanta, Georgia.
EBS World Entertainment’s focus
is centered on production, acquisition, marketing, packaging and
home distribution. EBS World Entertainment is
headed by Wayne Wong, Co-Chairman and President; and Richard Cooper,
Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. As a fully integrated
multimedia company, EBS World Entertainment is
poised to take advantage of new platforms across all segments
of the global marketplace.
The Company’s three divisions are:
EBS WORLD ENTERTAINMENT – our International Sales Team maintains sales offices at the American Film Market (AFM) and Cannes while our Acquisitions Team regularly attends film festivals in Berlin, Montreal, as well as France, Germany, South Korea, Russia, and throughout the United States.
ICEMAN PRODUCTIONS – under
the direction of Wayne Wong, will escalate its in-house production
schedule beginning this year. Iceman Productions will continue
to be the exclusive production facility for the globally recognized
Rick Jordan Films.
EBS HOME ENTERTAINMENT – under
the direction of Richard Cooper, plans to release more than 40
new video and DVD titles a year through the nation’s largest
video retailers and mass merchants as well as an online sell-through
catalogue.
The Company (which was previously known as EBS/Atlanta-Los
Angeles) was renamed EBS World Entertainment
Corporation in 2004 to better reflect the global
scope of its business. “We see a tremendous opportunity
right now for a smart, efficient worldwide entertainment organization
with the right products”, states Wong and Cooper. “EBS
World Entertainment is founded on a proven track
record. Our new corporate identity affirms our belief that there
continues to be a strong demand for quality driven independent
films. Our release schedule will be a mix of theatrical and straight-to-video
products encompassing action, comedy, drama, family, sci-fi, horror,
documentaries, special interest and foreign language films”.
