EBS World Entertainment is a Distribution Management firm with offices in Los Angeles and Atlanta.  With more than 10 years of experience handling the production, sales, and distribution films throughout the world, EBSWE provides a unique perspective to its clientele of global filmmakers and production companies.

What We Do

Licensing

We secure distribution for our clients’ films in North America.  Though we acknowledge that every film is unique, our goal is consistent and straightforward: expose the film to the broadest audience possible in order to maximize its revenue.   We represent documentaries and feature films in all genres, with budgets ranging from under $100,000 to more than $10 million, in more than a dozen languages.  We also manage the libraries of experienced international production companies, unearthing new revenue streams and maximize value of each library’s content.

Distribution Management

A filmmaker’s sole goal during production is to make the best film possible.  Unfortunately, this often leaves distribution decisions until after the film is completed, when the filmmaker has typically exhausted all resources.  To help relieve this burden from our clients, we handle all services related to distribution – planning the festival run, designing multiple distribution contingencies, initiating conversations with distributors, managing deliverables – beginning in pre-production.  By leveraging our knowledge and resources, we help position our clients’ films – and their careers – for success, while allowing them to focus on what they do best – making great films.

 Our History

For more than a decade, we have handled international sales for dozens of films – features and documentaries, American and foreign – and have licensed to some of the top distributors in North America and abroad.  In this time we have been active participants at the major international film markets, from which we have experienced firsthand the successes and failures of even the best films.  We’re also the producers of several films and fully understand the pitfalls filmmakers face as they transition from production into distribution.
